Documentary Family Sessions

These sessions are ideal for those who: feel uncomfortable posing for the camera, imagine photo sessions as a hassle, and/or just want something different, photos that truly capture your unique family dynamic.
This will be the simplest, most enjoyable, photo session you’ve ever had, and you will have family photos that you will absolutely cherish.

Maternity photography
This can be mom alone, both parents, or whole families, kids and pets included! We can customize your maternity photo session to preserve this amazing time for you ensuring you’re comfortable, your photos look natural, and you walk away with an amazing collection of images. These sessions can look very much like engagement sessions, family documentary sessions, or they can be elegant intimate portraits. Maternity sessions can be done in a park, at home, in a studio, or anywhere else you have in mind.
Newborn photography
The birth of your baby is a transcendent experience for all of you. The photography of your newborn baby should be transportive.
These sessions are generally done at-home.
I take time to photograph your little one on his/her own, posing and documenting his/her tiny body. From there (with plenty of feeding and changing breaks built in whenever needed), we’ll document you holding and loving your new little life. The photos I create carry a very natural style.
These photos allow you to travel back in time, reliving the joy, the quiet, the bliss, the excitement, and the overflow of love during this special time.
While I call this category newborn photography, it is not necessary that your little one be just 1-2 weeks old. We can make beautiful baby images that celebrate this new life anytime from your baby’s first week through his/her first year.
Event & Party Photography
Hosting a special event? The photos are all that you can take away from that day, so having it professionally documented is not only a great way to ensure all the important moments are beautifully preserved, but it also gives you the freedom to focus on your guests and enjoy yourself.
Large or small, indoors or outdoors, day or night, I can beautifully document your party. I am adept at being a fly on the wall, capturing the laughter, excitement, and engagement amongst guests, truly telling your story and preserving your special celebration.

Visiting NYC photography
These sessions are for families who are just visiting this wonderful city.
I will be your NYC local professional photographer, guiding you through your favorite sites and neighborhoods over 2 hours, as I document your family exploring and interacting.
This style of photo shoot provides candid and posed photos. Your photos will be authentic, warm, and artistic. You'll have a beautiful collection of photos that tell your family's story and preserve this special time.
